Hello,
My name is Roberto Wesley Overdijk online known as solow, but everyone calls me Wesley. Currently I'm 18 years old, and although I'm originally from Amsterdam, The netherlands, I now live in Koningshooikt, Belgium.
As this is the 'about' page, I will now start boring you with my life story, purely professional though, for the ones interested.
Diving right into the details, let me start by telling you about my interests, and educational background. My interests lie primarily with web development, and finding solutions. Actually, it's pretty much all I do. I get up at 6:20 AM, start programming, designing, or planning a new project, until about 6:00 PM. It's my hobby, and like I said, pretty much everything I do. Learning is one of my other passion. As long as it's about an IT related subject, I'm 100% focused.
One of my 'To obvious to miss' qualities, is that I like to think up solutions, and more. If a problem presents itself, I always try to think 3 steps ahead. Simply because a problem usually comes with more problems. And a solution brings new problems.
I follow 3 simple rules, which I apply to my projects:
- "I don't understand, it should work like this" is a ridiculous sentence. If it doesn't work, it's not supposed to work, and you screwed something up.
- "This'll do.." If it's not what the costumor wants, it's not good enough.
- "I don't know how to do this!" is something I would never say. If I don't know how it has to be done, I will learn it.
